In this course, you will learn computerized CAD 2D pattern making, grading and marker making of all general and advanced types of women’s wear apparels including various kinds of skirts, tops, shirts, trousers, dresses, raglans, advanced raglans, princess seamed dresses, bridal wear dresses, strap dresses, topless tops/dresses, kimonos, advanced trousers, jackets, coats, blazers etc. and their related topics on Optitex software.

The course is suitable for learners of all levels – beginners including freshers and industry outsiders, intermediate or advanced and will be taught in a very easy and learner-friendly manner starting from the absolute basics up to professional level.

You will be given complete practical knowledge of CAD pattern making, grading and marker making, we are not like other institutes who just teach bookish theory without giving any real practical knowledge of pattern making methods and fitting techniques. Truth is that they fail to teach pattern making correctly as they are not pattern makers themselves.

Unlike others, our courses are developed and taught by instructors who themselves have worked as senior pattern master for over 40 years in the apparel industry and have first-hand work experience of the industry and its processes. The course will be conducted via regular in-person classes at our institute in Noida. What is the eligibilty to join the courses?

There are no special eligibility requirements to join our courses although if you have some basic sewing knowledge or have an apparel industry background it helps in learning pattern making but it is not a must.

Don’t worry, our courses are perfectly suitable even for complete beginners and industry outsiders. We teach everything from absolute basics and in a very beginner-friendly way so you will not face any difficulty.

In what languages are the courses available?

All our courses are available in both Hindi and English so no need to worry if you don’t understand Hindi well.

You will be asked to choose your preferred course instruction medium while enrolling in the course.

How the regular courses will be conducted?

Regular courses will be conducted physically at our institute in Noida.

In all the courses, there will be 2 classes per week with 2 to 3 days of gap between each class. Each class will be of 2 hours (number of classes and class duration could be extended if needed).

For remaining free days of the week between the 2 classes, after every class the students will be given practical pattern making homework on real industry sketches, styles and measurements which they must complete and show to the course instructor in the next class. The instructor will evaluate it and check it for accuracy and fitting and provide their feedback. This is to develop learner’s real world industry-level pattern making work skills.

The class days and class timings will be flexible and will be finalized after discussing the preference of each enrolled student according to their convenience.

What is required for taking the classes?

For manual courses, you just need pattern making tools and brown pattern paper for pattern making practice which you can easily purchase from any stationary or you may also get them from us. We will tell you what tools you need when you join a manual course.

For CAD courses, you will need a desktop/laptop and Optitex or TUKAcad depending upon the course you join for pattern making practice. Optitex software’s demo version will be provided and installed by us on your computer which will be yours to keep and use for free forever. For TUKAcad, you will need to purchase the monthly subscription of their Learning Edition for $19 (₹1400 approx.).

Don’t worry, we will help you set everything up so that you don’t face any difficulty.

What if I miss a class?

The class days and class timings are made flexible so that you never face any difficulty in attending the classes. Still if you miss a class due to some unfortunate reason, you will be given a separate class from the rest of the batch to cover the missed topics.

Also, there will be special revision classes and doubt classes regularly so there is no need to worry.

Will a certificate be granted?

Yes an authorized course completion certificate carrying your photo and verifiable scannable QR Code will be granted to you on successful course completion.

No worries! We understand that not everyone can pay full course fee at once so we have now enabled installment payment option for all our learners. You can now pay the course fee in easy monthly installments without any extra charge!
